The Women's Flame Resistant Midweight Canvas Active Jac is made of 8.5 ounce FR Canvas (88% cotton/12% high-tenacity nylon), with a 6.75-ounce FR quilt lining (FR modacrylic batting quilted to twill face cloth). The flame resistant fabric is by Mount Vernon Mills and is NFPA 70E compliant. The jacket has a HRC (hazard risk category) of 3 and an ATPV (arc thermal performance value) of 33.5 cal/cm2.
The canvas active jac for women has a brass front zipper with Nomex zipper tape. On the inside and outside of the zipper there are protective flaps and a hidden snap closure for electric arc protection. There is also an attached quilt-lined hood with a Nomex drawcord for an adjustable fit. The jac has Nomex rib-knit cuffs and waistband, for added protection and warmth. On the inside of the jacket, there are two patch pockets with FR hook-and-loop closures for convenient storage.
On the front right pocket, there is a Carhartt FR label. There is also a HRC 2 label on the left placket of the jacket. With Carhartt, you know you're protected from your daily working dangers.
