Timberland's met-guard, waterproof boot features Timberland PRO® Ever-Guard leather upper that provides outstanding abrasion resistance used to enhance the durability in rugged workstie conditions. The waterproof leather and membrane keep your feet dry and allow your feet to breathe at the same time. The boot has a goodyear welt construction, and features Kevlar sewing thread on the welt, met shield, and toe rand to help the boot withstand heated conditions. The lining of the boot is anti-microbial lining used to reduce bacteria build up. The boot has a contoured, comfort inspired design with its external anatomical metatarsal protection that is a "hinged" ABS high-impact met shield (makes squatiting more comfortable and the metatarsal guard less constricting). The asymmetrical shield design follows the natural shape of the foot, to make the shield more comfortable and protective. The footbed is made of polyurethane and is a closed-cell footbed that provides durable cushioning for those long days on your feet.
