The Carhartt Women's WFRK296 Flame Resistant Hooded Zip-Front Sweatshirt is made of 10-ounce FR knit (55% modacrylic/45% cotton). The flame resistant fabric is by Innovative Textiles, Inc and is NFPA 70E compliant. The sweatshirt has a HRC (Hazard Risk Category)of 2 with the ATPV (arc thermal performance value) of 18.5 cal/cm2.
This hooded zip-front sweatshirt is a sure thing, when it comes to colder weather. The attached hood has a drawcord closure so your face can stay warm while working outside. It also has a brass front zipper with Nomex zipper tape that features interior and exterior wind flaps to make sure the cold air stays out of the sweatshirt. On top of that, there are two front hand-warmer pockets.
The sweatshirt also has a longer length that provides coverage while reaching and bending on the job. The Carhartt label is sewn onto the pocket, as well as 1 more label (HRC 2 label) that is sewn on the left pocket side seam.
