Carhartt's FRB194 Midweight Canvas Waist Overall is made of FR 8.5-ounce canvas (88% cotton and 12% high-tenacity nylon) with a liner made of FR twill face-cloth lining quilted to midweight modacrylic insulation. The flame resistant fabric is by Mount Vernon Mills and is NFPA 70E compliant. The waist-overall has a HRC (Hazard Risk Category)of 3 with the ATPV (arc thermal performance value) of 33.5 cal/cm2.
The waist overall is easy-fitting, with its full seat and thighs. The waist of the overall sits slightly below the natural waist. The pant also features an ankle-to-thigh zipper with Nomex FR zipper tape, allowing room for your work boots to fit through when taking off the pants or putting them on. The inner and outer leg-zipper flaps offer added protection and also have arc-resistant snap closures. For added comfort, the waist overall also has double knees with cleanout openings that can accommodate knee pads.
Worried about durability? Don't be, these pants have a chap-style double-front that enhances durability. The leg-bottom kick panels are also reinforced to make them last longer. And that's not all, the two back pockets are reinforced to make sure they hold up just as long as the pants. On top of all the reinforcements and durability adding features, all of the main seams are also triple-stitched.
With a Carhartt logo on the back pocket, and an HRC3 label sewn on the waistband you know you're protected and ready to work strong.
